MAI at an event of the Immigrant Council of Ireland

On Thursday, 21 January 2015 Muslim Association of Ireland participated in a social and cultural gathering organised by the Immigration Council of Ireland. The event was to celebrate the diversity of Muslim cultures.

There was plenty of traditional food, showcasing various aspects of Muslim culture, some of these are interactive including henna and calligraphy artists. The event was concluded with a screening of the short film between land and water which is collaborative art project created by outlandish theatre platform in collaboration with Sarah Jane Scaife and a group of Muslim women.

لبت الجمعية الإسلامية دعوة بلدية الهجرة بالمشاركة في معرض الثقافات الإسلامية بقاعة ليبيرتي في وسط دبلن وكنت المشاركة الجمعية بعرض المصحف الصوتي وبعض الكتب والتحف والصور من الموروث الاسلامي. تضمن البرنامج إستقبال بعض اللاجئين السوروين وعرض سينمائي لفيلم قصير بعنوان ( بين الأرض والماء) انتجته مخرجة إيرلندية بالتعاون مع نساء مسلمات هاجرن لإيرلندا .
